In short: this website uses no cookies and no tracking. We only get your information when you choose to call, text or email us, and we use it to give you an estimate and do the job. We never sell it.
Who we are
F&R Door Solutions is a sole proprietorship providing door, glass and locksmith services in the Greater Toronto Area. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Our privacy contact is the F&R Door Solutions privacy officer, reachable at fnrdoors@gmail.com or 437-431-8645.
What we collect
Only what you send us when you contact us or book a job:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address where the work is needed
- Photos or videos of the door, lock or glass you send for an estimate
- Details of the job, the estimate, the invoice and payment records
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health or government ID details.
Why we use it
- To prepare your estimate and arrange the visit
- To do the work and contact you about it
- To invoice you and keep the business and tax records the law requires
- To answer questions or complaints about our work
We do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Cookies, analytics and this website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- Fonts: the typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google states it does not use this to build advertising profiles. See Google's privacy policy.
- Accessibility settings: if you change text size or contrast with the accessibility button, that choice is saved only in your own browser so it stays the same on your next visit. It is never sent to us. You can clear it with the Reset button or by clearing your browser's site data.
- Hosting: like every website, our web host may keep short-term server logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only when needed to do your job (for example, giving glass measurements to a glass supplier), with our accountant when required, or when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep job records only as long as needed for the work, any warranty question, and the business records Canadian tax law requires us to keep. Photos sent only for an estimate are deleted once they are no longer needed.
How we protect it
Your information is kept on password-protected devices and accounts that only we can access.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete what we no longer need to keep. Email fnrdoors@gmail.com or call 437-431-8645. We will answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
